• Drivers must have a drivers license. If the driver is under 25 additional excess applies.
• Terms are major credit cards or cash.  Deposit required to cover applicable excess.
• Rates include maintenance but not petrol.
• Vehicle hire is subject to terms and conditions in the Affordable Car Hire standard agreement.
• Rates, conditions and information are subject to change without notice.
• The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
• All odometers are sealed.  If an odometer has been found to have been tampered with, the renter will be charged for 800 km per rental day of the signed rental agreement.
• Cleaning / valet charge up to R80,00 may be levied for cars returned in a dirty condition.
• Extensions of rentals beyond the original return date must be effected by contacting our office (failure to do so will result in the renter not being covered by insurance).

• Written permission from Affordable Car Hire is required before taking the vehicle out of South Africa.
• Insurance is compulsory unless a deposit equal to the vehicle value is made.
• Theft or damage to wheels / tires / windscreen / or vehicle contents are not covered by insurance.
• In the event of the hirer or driver being convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, the hirer and driver would be held jointly liable for the damages in full.
• Long lease rates are negotiable.
• Vehicles are for the renters private use and may not be used for carrying fare paying passengers.
